Our favourite pieces from our store are now also available at www.fashion-locals.com, a Munich based platform, that gathers and offers the current stock of some of the nicest retailers around Europe.

Users and customers, who won´t be able to make to Berlin, London or Paris are now able to observe and purchase the current collections of stores like Valentine Gaultier (Paris), Pickurberry (London) and Esther Perbandt / Baerck / Shanibar (Berlin).

Yolo | store has joined this pleasant group of retailers and will also from now on offer a nice selection of stock to people all around the web.

Once a user has purchased a product, the retailer will handpick the style and directly ship it to the buyer. The invoicing will run through our partner, fashion locals.

Our/Berlin Vodka now @Yolo | store…

Our/Berlin is the name of a new local vodka, made in Berlin within the framework of the brand Our/Vodka.

One part global and one part local. That’s the recipe that will give selected cities around the world their very own vodka.

Our/Vodka is a micro-distilled vodka made by local entrepreneurs in cities throughout the world. The first micro-distillery, which also doubles as a bar and a store, was opened by Paul Sanders on March 8^th in Berlin.

All Our/Vodka is made with the same recipe, but every distillery will use locally sourced ingredients. Thereby each city will get a vodka with a local character. The Berliners are the first ones out and Our/Berlin will be produced right in the middle of the city, Am Flutgraben 2, in Treptow.

“We think it is a unique chance for us to be part of all aspects of building a brand from the very beginning. The product is classic in its genre, but newly made the best way for our time. We believed in the product from the beginning and see great possibilities for us to form it and combine it with our network and creative ideas and input. We look forward to co-create the brand in Berlin together with the Berliners” say Pauline Hoch and Jon D. Sanders from Paul Sanders.

Our/Vodka is a global brand initiated and owned by Pernod Ricard.

Our/Vodka comes in a small bottle of 350 ml with a crown cap. It’s smooth and fresh with a fruity note, and very contemporary.

Our/Vodka is composed to blend well with any mixers. 1 + 1 is our recipe. Mix it with whatever you like and keep it simple. It’s vodka.

Our/Berlin is available now at the Our/Berlin distillery and at selected bars and retailers (such as Yolo | store) in Berlin.

Ikku was launched in January 2012, in Amsterdam by Daniel Archutowski, Frank Bleker and Janneke Grootings. Combining their knowledge and experience in fashion design, product design, branding and manufacturing to create a brand that meets the aesthetic needs of the style-savvy whilst appeasing the functional and environmental requirements of the world we live in.

SS13 - a kind of guise collection “Viva la Mexico” is now available @Yolo | store in Berlin.

Munich based brand ‘a kind of guise’ is now delivering their SS13 collection ‘Viva la Mexico’ to selected retailers around Europe.

A kind of guise states:

“We have always had great interest in the country of Mexico with its mystically charged
culture, it seemed appealing and very interesting and it was clear to us that at some point
we wanted to use these influences and work with them. Unfortunately a journey to Mexico
wasn’t foreseeable in the near future, but fate took its turn and in a different context, we
once again got in touch with the country’s history and traditions. During the course of
preparations for an upcoming exhibition at the “Weltkulturen Museum” of Frankfurt, it was
once again the Mexican artefacts that caught our attention the most while wandering the
Museum’s archives. This experience, paired with our growing collection of photographs and
imagery from Mexico that we had already gathered from books and other media, brought us
to the decision that our next summer collection should run under the title “Viva La Mexico”.

Once we made that decision, of course the process of creating the collection had to
follow. it soon became evident that next to the history and culture of Mexico, its
nature would play an important part in creating the overall look of the collection.
Being a country with desert-like areas as well as rain forests and the ocean, this
diversity had to be taken into account some- how. We tried to translate this
diversity into the collection mainly in terms of the use of colours, by working with
bleached and faded shades that still have an intense and strong feeling to them. All
these different influences, together with our fantasy of what this country might
look like in reality, brought us to the final outcome. nevertheless, the wish to visit
the country one day exists more than ever. it will be interesting to compare the true
Mexico to the one we build for ourselves in in the creative process that gave birth
to this collection.”

Yolo | store on Torstrasse 102 in Berlin-Mitte is happy to offer a broad selection of AKOG for men and women this season. Exclusive materials (Japanese/Italian cotton) are used in many of the styles and every single item is handmade in Germany.

We teamed up with an exciting wristwatch producer from Hong Kong to create a limited edition of the ‘boat’ wristwatch for Yolo | store, our first official collabo.

‘boat’ stands for ‘be optimistic and thankful’. The brand describes their work with the following words:

“Sealed Watch – When you witness a beautiful and glorious moment, you will want to treasure and seal it forever in your heart so that you will never let it go by. As individual human beings, everyone has their own specific stories which is silently placed in their own heart. These emotional connections and memories are the most valuable pieces of evidence of living, which moves us in different ways.

We hope to be able to help you create an individual Sealed Watch which captures your own story or memory, and becomes a personal identity mark worn on your hand. Also, we hope to allow peo-
ple to recognize that each one of those special memories or stories are worth protecting through a Sealed Watch; in a very pure and simple way.”

This product is custom-made with a brown leather-strap and a customized dial, made out of sealed wax and stamp with our “logo in disguise”.

Yolo | store presents: a kind of guise 90 days of sun, rain and wind shirt

a kind of guise – Take a bit of summer into the winter! This very limited edition of denim shirts has been made from fabric that we exposed to nature’s elements for roughly 90 days near Lake Garda, Italy. The reward was a unique batch of material drenched in sunshine and rain. The shirt comes in a classic cut with two flapped breast pockets and black and gold press stud buttons.

Every item of this collection is numbered and one of a kind: no shirt looks like the other. The collection is strictly limited to a total of only 100 pieces.
